Idaho Sports Medicine Institute (ISMI), established in 1978 by our founder, George A. Wade, MD, is a private office located on the Boise State University campus. We exist to provide specialized care to patients with active lifestyles. The staff at ISMI is comprised of Board Certified and fellowship trained orthopedic surgeons and a family medicine/sports medicine physician, as well as an exercise physiologist, athletic trainers, physical therapists, and radiologic technologists.

This team approach guarantees that each patient receives a comprehensive treatment plan based on his/her specific needs. ISMI provides treatment of acute injuries, preventive care, training programs, nutritional counseling, coaches' education and athletic event overage. In addition, we offer athletic testing and performance services, including VO2max, and asthma testing.
